Aeronautical Research Center (ARC) has been established early in January 2008 as a member of Safat Aviation Group. ARC intends to build Local capabilities through providing innovative, high quality, efficient and cost-effective solutions to support the Sudanese aviation industries basically located in Safat Aviation Complex. ARC is expected to conduct applied research on technologies and applications of air vehicles and related accessories and equipment. ARC is working on completing its infrastructure and qualifying of its engineers to be recognized from Sudan Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) and related international authorities as an approved design organization that issues aircraft type certificates and airworthiness certificates and providing and conducting all the ground and flight tests,
