The Architectural Heritage Association is a non profit corporation founded in 1976 by a group of concerned citizens and professionals. The organization is strongly committed to the preservation and reuse of architecturally significant buildings.MissionTo advocate and promote awareness and preservation of the Northeastern Pennsylvania's architectural heritage in the following ways:-by providing an information bank at the disposal of groups and individuals with specific related problems and interests,- by giving presentations on the area's architectural heritage to groups and organizations in the region,-by aiding in bringing together artists and craftsmen with those who are interested in or could benefit from such expertise,-by researching and pursuing the funds available for publications, studies, and other projects relevant to the purpose stated, and-by acting as coordinating body with other organizations with similar interests, to minimize duplication of efforts.from Article II, AHA BY LAWS
