Arsinica

Founded in 2003, Arsinica promotes alternative culture between France and China. In 2006, it has contributed to Visions de France, a retrospective on French documentary in Beijing organised by the French Embassy, and launched the same year the Festival Shadows in Paris, unique biennial in Europe entirely dedicated to Chinese independent cinematography, through which it developed programme, distribution and consultancy activities. Originally in Les Voûtes, the festival has settled in 2009 at Studio des Ursulines, establishing the Cycle Shadows, screening/debate that is held once a month.
