The human voice is truly the most beautiful instrument, but for some it is the most difficult to play.It is with those individuals in mind that the Association for Vocal Disorders (a registered not-for-profit organization) was established.Our core mission is:- To increase awareness of vocal disorders- To provide a forum that gives a voice to the voiceless- To educate on the latest research and innovationsWe address the human side of vocal disorders.The root causes of voice problems are vast. Whether occurring as a result of sickness, genetics, injury, illness, stress, or unknown causes… the daily complications of living with limited voice are the same.Our organization works to improve the day-to-day quality of life for those who impacted by these conditions.
