AIST is a PTECH (Pathways in Technology Early College High School) with grades 9-14th. It is a Tuition Free Public Charter School. Students will earn an accredited high school diploma as well as an associates degree in their field of study. AIST breaks the traditional mold of high school and built a curriculum of projects that are aligned to the academic standards. Students will choose 2-3 projects per semester and the core content teachers will team teach and push into other projects as well to teach their content. At AIST we believe in teaching students how to learn not what to learn. We focus on the logic processing portion of education. Students will be encouraged to ask questions and problem solve. The answer is important, but its the processing of information in a logical manner that is more important.
