Who is BG Restoration?BG Restoration upcycles reclaimed wood into handcrafted, one of a kind, wall decor. Our vintage-inspired style makes the perfect unique art piece or gift. The most amazing part of BG Restoration's backstory is that it was created by complete accident. With ZERO woodworking experience, I created a Chicago Flag that was intended for my own home to remind me of where I grew up (as I now live in Omaha, NE). But when I completed the final product, I was so surprised with how well it turned out that I had to share it with someone. And for that reason, I gave it to my cousin as a wedding gift in August of 2015. The response that it received from that day has led to over 200 pieces in less than 18 months.Fast forward to the present, I now have a thriving business that I'm proud to call my own. But most importantly, I have a beautiful wife who supports all the craziness that comes with my passion. Without her and my two beautiful boys (Gavin, 3 and Owen, 1), I wouldn't have anyone to share this journey with.
