Before joining Helvetia in 2000 he was more than ten years at Swiss Re in various positions as client manager and property/casualty-underwriting for local and global clients. Furthermore he was five years at Winterthur Re's Aviation department which became later Partner Re Aviation. Peter has a degree of the University of Zurich (Laws) and did further studies in "Corporate Finance", "Organizational Behaviour" and "Public Opinion" at the University of Texas, Dallas and "General Management" at the University of Chicago, Graduate Business School, Chicago. Peter lives with his family in Switzerland.
