Biodiversity Credits Australia was established by Michael Spork and Jesse Lu in 2018, in response to a market demand for biodiversity offset transaction services.The Biodiversity Offset Act of 2016 serves to minimise the impact of development on the environment, but it has also introduced a complex administrative layer that has the potential impact project timelines.We specialise in the identification, establishment and transaction of biodiversity credits required to offset impacts to the unique ecosystems on land that property and infrastructure developers are seeking to develop.Biodiversity Credits Australia streamlines the process for developers: identifying credits, liaising with landowners and ecologists to establish them, and coordinating with the taskforce to minimise delays. We invest in or locate landholders with high quality biodiversity sites around NSW and work with a team of experienced ecologists alongside the Biodiversity Taskforce, to establish and issue biodiversity credits. Our involvement enables developers to fulfil their biodiversity obligations without the need to navigate additional complexities, saving time, effort and money.
