XR Hub seeks to provide an educational platform for Brown and RISD student bodies highlighting the rapidly-progressing world of XR technologies.XR stands for extended reality, which is an umbrella term for augmented reality, virtual reality, and mixed-reality. XR Hub seeks to provide a learning and collaborating platform for RISD student body in the world where the immersive technologies are progressing rapidly. In this club, members can build the skills needed to create XR projects; the theme ranges from games, art installations to public health and many other applications. As we move forward, our team will look for sponsorship, collaboration opportunities, and access to equipment in the field.
