We are Regina Maria Creations, a small Singaporean start up and founders of Brownness Is Relative. As a couple of Singaporean women, through our personal experiences we have created 'Independently Brown' which complements in building a more positive and inclusive community promoting self-love and self appreciation among women.'Independently Brown' a 68-page pull out colouring book for all ages. This book contains beautiful illustrations depicting Brown women in various settings, celebrating their skin and celebrating their achievements in our society.The book also contains motivational and inspirational messages to uplift women letting them know that they too achieve independent greatness.Those who have bought our books have mentioned that they resonate greatly with the images, and some even said they wished they had this book in their time. We've also had a couple of young girls say that they are glad to have a set of skin toned colour pencils and have coloured the picture they associate with the best.Through these books we would like to be a catalyst for change to show that Brown women around the world can be who they want to be, despite our differences.We want to give the gift of independence to all women of different shades of colour!
