When you think about it, everything we do of any use, relevance or substance is a project. We live in a project world. But it's a more complex, more uncertain and more volatile world. And the strategies we're trying to execute are all of those things too. So the question we need to ask ourselves is this: "How can we better execute the strategic projects that drive our companies forward when everything just moves around a lot more?"​The biggest problems in making things happen and getting stuff done in organisations are still missed deadlines, overspends, poor quality outcomes and general project failure but it's not just a question of making sure things are on time, on budget and on spec.
