The mission of BAF is to promote the development of, and excellence in, the visual arts in Canada – accomplished through innovative arts exhibits and educational programs. The initiative stems from a desire to bring fresh perspectives in visual arts to the City of Vancouver (and abroad); we do this by supplementing and infusing the Arts scene with artistic concepts exhibited in the context of the rapidly developing urban environment.
