Cavendish Lodge Nursery School is owned by and is the brainchild of two Streatham residents, Jodie and Kevin Potter. They live in Lewin Road too and, soon after the birth of their precious twin daughters, looked around the area for nursery provision for the girls.They found nothing that they liked and so decided to start their own! It was a big and ambitious project, but they were determined to make the very best, highest quality and most impressive nursery they could. Jodie's creative skills coupled with Kevin's entrepreneurial drive, helped them succeed.Uppermost in their minds is that the children have the very best experiences and that their days are filled with fun, creativity, love and learning. No expense has been spared and there are lots of special child-focussed details to explore and fascinate. So the original Cavendish Lodge Nursery gained an enviable reputation, became very popular and quickly reached capacity. When the opportunity arose to buy a disused health clinic opposite, they jumped at the chance and that's how the Dove House site came in the family and opened in September 2010. The two nursery buildings face each other and are conveniently situated with great transport links just five minutes walk from Streatham Common and Streatham stations; and from the wide open spaces of Streatham Common.
