We have the distinct honor and pleasure to announce the inauguration of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Romania-Turkmenistan's official page.This step aims to create an online platform that provides a constant stream of news, analysis and expertise for those interested in the geopolitical and economic developments in Central Asia- a dynamic region that presents a high potential due to natural, human and strategic resources, one that has not been yet capitalized at the Euro-Atlantic level.Our initiative arises as we celebrate a quarter of a century since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Romania and Turkmenistan, characterized by an extensive political and economic dialogue in various areas of interest, as well as by an increased intensity of the bilateral, cultural and scientific ties.In the Information Age, the success of the mission taken on by CCIRom-Tkm, to promote the economic cooperation relations between Bucharest and Ashgabat, including in the context of the EU Strategy for Central Asia, can only be achieved by generating a synergy between all the interested public and private actors and by creating a network of experts, based on knowledge and inter and pluridisciplinary dialogue.At the same time, we would like to manifest our availability to cooperate with organizations, institutions and working groups from other countries. We also hope that the online platform will serve as a generator for conferences, seminars and workshops in the offline, thus animating the exchange of ideas and experience between high level experts, businessmen, diplomats and academics interested in connecting Central Asia to the Romanian and European public agenda.
