Dewey tron specializes in documentary and portrait photography in the DC area. Dewey is a graduate of the Art Institute of Washington with a BA in media arts and animation. He was a participant in the Columbia Heights West Teen Photo Project. Since he was 13 when he was handed a camera with an almost unlimited supply of film to experiment with. His service to the community with this group has been covered by ABC 7 News, the Arlington Virginia Network, and published in Harvard's magazine, "Ed." , Sun Gazette and The Washington Post. His work has been exhibited at the Smithsonian: Americana exhibit, , FOTOWEEKDC 2010 : CPDP (public projection), NGSA, and ArtHouse in Washington, DC, Flux, Columbia Pike Library, and Ellipse Art Center in Arlington, VA. His photographs are included in the published book; Portraits from the Pike: A Celebration of Community.
