At FIcAPPaCITY we develop technological solutions that remove information access barriers for people with disabilities, so that they can achieve a better quality of life by increasing their independence, personal safety and self-confidence.We gather data from different open data sources and sensors (related to smartcity technologies) and we transform it into valuable and accessible information for people with different kinds of disabilities.We are currently focused on removing information access barriers for people with sensory disabilities in mobility and emergency situations. We plan to offer in the future solutions in other areas and types of disabilities, such as for seniors or motor disability.
