In 1905, as indoor plumbing became popular, cities across America began to regulate sanitation, requiring all new homes and commercial buildings be connected to a public sewer system or a septic tank.OUR STORY:Our water & wastewater roots began with a family plumbing business started in 1905, that evolved into supporting family real estate development by installing site utilities. Our team first met at a national plumbing/HVAC service company, now known as ARS (American Residential Services). After the ARS IPO, we launched EarthCare, a sewer management company that provided commercial sewer cleaning and waste transportation. EarthCare was acquired by a PE firm for a NADAQ listing (ECCO).Our next journey was launching PCI Industrial Services, as startup employees for a nationwide construction company. Our industrial waste & hydro-excavation services helped heavy industries, like power plants, steel plants, refinery & petrochemical, marine and manufacturing.Soon, our primary founder was recruited to China to lead a global Hong Kong-based water & waste subsidiary serving oil & gas industry, that included slurry injection waste disposal and refinery tank storage cleaning.Prior to Flush, we helped a 38-year, Texas-based water & waste technology and infrastructure product manufacturer sell to a public water pipe entity for $89 million.
