The idea of Geek Closet came about a couple of years ago in New York City. My brilliant friend, a software engineer, and I got together for lunch to catch up and whine about the current state of events. I shared my trials and tribulations as an aspiring sci fi writer. My friend’s frustrations however were a little more peculiar; he mentioned how insanely jealous he was of his peers who hacked into one of the high ranking institutions. To make him feel better about his failed aspirations to become an intellectual white collar federal offender, a blend of his three heroes, Darth Vader, Professor Moriarty and Stewie Griffin, I made a comfort tee for him: Bad Mother Hacker. Proper Genius. He instantly fell in love with it!
