Girls In Motion is a personal training and self-awareness program for girls age 10-13.Overview: This is a six-week program designed to instruct young women in the basics of effective weight training and cardiovascular exercise. Additionally, each week we will focus on discussing issues aimed at helping girls to express themselves in positive ways and become more self-confident in the process. Each week girls will complete a strength and cardio workout, with instruction on the physiology of the exercises presented. There will also be a theme to each workout that goes beyond the physical and touches on issues that girls in this age group may be dealing with. Handouts/summaries of each lesson will be available to parents after each personal training session.
