Giving Back to Social Workers

Giving Back to Social Workers (GBSW) is a peer to peer fundraising group. Each week, one lucky social worker is selected and is featured throughout the week. Group members contribute $1 (or more!) to the lucky social worker. While this idea originally started as a way to address the student loan debt social workers accumulate, funds have also been used to address housing issues, transportation issues, and medical bills. Eligibility: -Hold a degree in social work (BSW/MSW/DSW/PhDSW)-If licensed, license must be in good standing-Verification of gifting to the previous Lucky Social WorkerSchedule: Fridays: New Lucky Social Worker is selected, entry post opens once verification is complete. Thursdays, 9pm: Entry post closes.
