Glodwick Dynamoes Football Club a non-profit organisation run by over 20 volunteers, was originally established in the year 2000. The club was officially constituted and affiliated in 2017 allowing teams within the club to play football at grassroot level recognised by Manchester FA. The club has successfully achieved the FA Chartered Standard accreditation in 2020 which demonstrates the club offers well-run and sustainable football.The main aim of the club is to encourage the participation of youths and volunteers through delivering football and fitness training sessions to help remove barriers that individuals may have faced preventing them from getting involved. We strive towards improving the health and wellbeing of all our participants, alongside their individual football development too. This results in a positive and lasting impact on their behaviour and communication skills helping to improve our children's life chances. Every youth participating in the training sessions is given the opportunity to play in the official games at either 11 a side, 9 aside, 7 aside and 5 a side and tournaments where possible. The current age group starts as young as 6 and progresses throughout the teenage years and into open age. We are proud to be currently working with over 150 youths across multiple ages (boys/girls) playing in the Tameside and Failsworth Leagues.
