Have you ever wondered what your carbon footprint is when you consume waste?Gomi-Map is a map application that shows you the nearest recycling spots along with additional instructional information. Users can choose the type of waste and the nearest route to the correct recycling spot will be shown. We aim to have nationwide content, strive to create new recycling points and act as an intermediary between consumers and manufacturers to create new waste management initiatives.Our project will eventually feed Carbon-offset data into the National Census and use Blockchain technology to track and reward ethical waste initiatives.
