Grassroots is a staffing platform designed for justice-impacted individuals. These are underserved adolescents who have been disadvantaged by the criminal justice system. Criminal justice reform is a powerful and complicated tool that must encompass safe and humane research and development. Grassroots is dedicated to community engagement ahead of profit. Our community partners empower participants with literacy, job training, and vocational skills. We will help interns secure employment, with our own food and beverage business sites as the central staffing hubs. Participants will learn, earn, and grow from users of our non-profit arm to owners of our for-profit arm.Our diversion programs are based on a time-tested restorative justice model that has given over 1,000 second chances and prevented crime over 96% of the time.
