Huaora is a concept of Maori philosophy, which believes that health and well-being are based on four pillars, physical well-being, mental and emotional balance, spiritual well-being, values, and social well-being, self-esteem.We, the founders of Huaora, have always believed in this idea, even years before we knew it, and we believe that nutrition is at the basis of this well-being, because we have long cared about maintaining a healthy, tasty and balanced diet and we realized that this is a first step to feel good.Years ago, our love of nature led us to renounce foods of animal origin; this made us particularly interested in nutrition, in order to make sure that our diet provided us with sufficient levels of protein, mineral salts, vitamins and fats for a balanced diet.This interest in vegetable, ecological and nutritious products suitable to replace meat and fish proteins led us to discover super-foods such as maca, lucuma, milk thistle, chlorella and camu-camu, which excited us for their properties, delicious taste and versatility in the kitchen.
