Celebrating the diversity and influence of Black History & Culture. Where the past and the present come together to celebrate historical and contemporary Black heroes, stories and voices that have been overlooked, until now.  Founded in 2017 by Deborah King and Chanelle Denton, I AM History started with(and continues to have) T-shirts emblazoned with the names of historical Black figures such as Queen Nzinga and Tenkamenin. ‘Wear their name. Tell their story'. By wearing the name you embody the greatness that figure represents and keep the past alive. We tell their stories because they are relevant to who we are today.  This is the start of a new Renaissance of Black culture.
