We established the Indian Print Exporters Forum in 2004 and initiated our first multi-client entire print industry project in 2001. We were IDEAlliance (an international non-profit organization) affiliate associated with IDEAlliance to and from IDEAlliance India to promote color standardization in India from 2013 to 2017.IPPStar provides market research services, ethical consultancy, training programs, seminars, round table events, and conferences for the printing, packaging, and publishing industries. Our research has been primarily driven by projects for leading industry vendors from India, Europe, Japan, and North America looking for equipment and consumable manufacture and supply to the Indian print market. The clients have included Indian, European, Japanese, and North American press, digital press, offset and flexo CtP, plate, ink, and workflow software manufacturers. IPPStar made presentations of its research to PRIMIR (the American organization for print industry research) in Portland Oregon in the USA in August 2007 and at a Business Breakfast on 9 May 2012 sponsored by Messe Dusseldorf at the Congress Centre at drupa 2012 in Dusseldorf. A presentation was also made at Tokyo Pack in Tokyo in 2014.Our consultancy and research work over the years includes projects in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. We have done research in India and Bangladesh.IPPStar has carried out two industry-wide surveys with a large stratified sample across the country – the first from 2001 to 2004; and the second from 2010 to 2012.
