Illinois Virtual Schools & Academy, formerly known as Illinois Virtual School (IVS), has been working hard to provide a statewide virtual option for students in Illinois for over 20 years. IVSA has a strong track record of 5-12 student success in online learning. While we continue our growth and leadership in the environment of digital learning, both blended and online, we have tracked over 10,000 course enrollments with an average completion rate of 91% (i.e., students earning 60% or higher). The IVSA program is administered through the Lake County Regional Office of Education 34, a member of the Illinois Association of Regional Superintendents of Schools (IARSS).
