Our goal is to provide for the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well being of children who, for whatever reason, are lacking a safe, nurturing, and caring environment to call "home".Our first program is an Orphanage (Children's home) in Guatemala, Immanuel Hogar para Niños (Immanuel Home for Children). The high poverty rate (approximately 59.3% according to the World Bank) combined with the Guatemalan government's outlawing of foreign adoptions has resulted in overcrowded orphanages where abuse is not uncommon.We are stepping into this need gap with a fully staffed home for up to 20 children who have been removed from their homes due to dangerous situations. At Immanuel Hogar, we offer access to education and psychological and medical care.
