Intrinsic Games is an independent game developer aiming to bring unique, quality titles to the handheld marketplace. Founded by alumni of the University of Southern California, the company's first released title was 'Divergent Shift', published by Konami Digital Entertainment on the Nintendo DSiWare service. In 2011, Intrinsic Games' talent and assets were acquired by Grab Games. Projects in active development were completed by the team at Grab and published to critical acclaim, namely 'Penguin Patrol' (iOS, Android, DSiWare), and 'Amoebattle' (iOS, DSiWare).
