We have the space and experience to provide a full package for large and small corporate dinners, incentive events, conferences, networking events, offsite days, brand launches, workshops, team building activities, away days, activities etc....We are the orginal, authentic, rustic and atmospheric Scottish barn venue. Perfect for everything from a Burns Night to a ceilidh to a large corporate dinner. We also have 10 cabins onsite, sleeping a max of 20. We organise activities from highland games for hundreds of people to abseiling or real clay pigeon shooting for small groups. We are in an incredible central Scottish location just 2 miles outside St Andrews with spectacular views across the bay and right next to the Fairmont hotel, the awarding 5* St Andrews resort with 211 bedrooms, 2 golf courses, a spa and fine dinging banquetting team who can cater for your event here at Kinkell Byre. We can seat 450 inside the Byre for a corporate dinner and can add on marquees if you want to go large. We have done 850 for dinner and 2000+ for student balls. Kinkell Byre, built in the 1700s, a winter home for the cattle of Kinkell Farm, which once stretched to St Andrews. The cattle huddled in the main dining room, their food was stored in the long shed (where the bar is) and the tattie shed at end of the dining area housed the dairy as well as tatties. Some of the stone used to build the byre came from the ruins of Kinkell Castle, which stood near here, down by the sea.Now part of our logo, Archie, the highland bullock, who lived to the ripe old age of 18, now watches over the entrance to the byre. The Fyfe family have farmed at Kinkell since 1950 and since 2003, Kinkell Byre has hosted a wide range of events, weddings, student balls, corporate dinners, and activity days. The experience gained in this time gives the team at Kinkell the ability to ensure our customers realise their vision for their perfect event.
