LONGITŪDINĒS is a multilingual magazine for creative writing, literary translation, and the arts, founded in 2019 by three Ph.D. candidates in literary studies interested in translation and multilingualism. The magazine publishes print and digital multilingual issues, online translations, and exclusive content. The pilot issue published in 2020 included an interview with award-winning writer Lucy Ellmann. Issue One is forthcoming. It features interviews with Italian linguist Vera Gheno and American writer Garielle Lutz.At present, LONGITŪDINĒS has language editors for Dutch, English, French, German, Greek, Italian, Romanian, Spanish and Catalan. We are always looking to expand the languages we can cover.At the moment, collaboration with LONGITŪDINĒS is on a voluntary basis.
