M&C Menlo Park Federal Credit Union was established in 1967 to serve the employees of the Minerals & Chemicals Corporation, then Engelhard Corporation and now BASF Corporation. We are a corporate-sponsored, federally chartered credit union. Credit unions are not-for-profit organizations that exist to serve their members rather than to maximize profits. M&C Menlo Park Federal Credit Union is owned by its members via shares/savings accounts. BASF employees who work in Iselin NJ, Union NJ, and Peekskill NY, and their immediate families are eligible for membership. M&C Menlo Park Federal Credit Union is regulated and insured by the National Credit Union Administration, a United States Government Agency.
