The Medication Safety Officers Society (MSOS) is a society devoted to Medication Safety Officers and leaders in medication management. MSOS was founded in 2005 as the American Society of Medication Safety Officers (ASMSO) by Medication Safety Officers with the goal to provide an open forum of information sharing and collaboration. ASMSO by acquired by ISMP in 2013 and renamed the Medication Safety Officers Society (MSOS). The mission of MSOS is to advance and encourage excellence in safe medication use by providing communication, leadership, direction, and education among its members.
