Microproduct Inc. is on a mission to build and deliver the first true Product Management SaaS (application) geared towards the Software industry. We believe that the Product Management field can be more that a few words on a book and a set of PowerPoint slides. The current approach of Product Management as a mishmash of slides, spreadsheets, and documents scattered all over the place; and each siloed business unit doing its own 'thing', bring along with it chaos, waste, and is truly counterproductive. The current approach of clobbering Product Management process with Program, Project, and other such fields has added to the confusion while making product ownership, transparency, and progress tracking difficult to understand (or measure). While the engineering (or software development) field has plethora of tools and application to help along, the Product Management field has been left by the wayside; and this, at times, contributes the engineering team dictating what to build. Invariably, decisions regarding what to build coming from engineering leads to building something that has no product-market-fit. We are bringing rigor and discipline to the Product Lifecycle Management field. With our SaaS application, the Product Management field will become a cauldron of product inception. In addition, with AI capability, we will enable the Product team to find out possibly similar products and stop product groups from shipping their org structure. As product teams mature and utilize our SaaS app, various advanced features such as CO-PM, PM Idea-generator, and My Program Manager with full industry customizability will become critical tools for the Product Manager.
