A joint effort between the school districts of Juniata and Mifflin,Mifflin-Juniata Career and Technology Center (MJCTC) provides vocationaltraining to area high school students. MJCTC’s career academics presentan ideal opportunity for students to get a jumpstart on their futureprofession while still in high school.At Mifflin-Juniata Career and Technology Center, you can choose fromabout a dozen programs. These practical, hands-on courses are a great wayto explore a new career, or to hone your skills in a trade you alreadylove. Some of the programs currently available include Construction, AutoMechanics, Health Professions and Agriculture Technology.Because they’re available free of charge for local high school students,admissions are simple for MJCTC programs. You can either contact thecenter or your high school’s counseling office for more information.MJCTC also offers continuing education opportunities for adult students.Any local adult interested in expanding his or her professional skill setis welcome to study at MJCTC.
