James Millar is a Melbourne based freelance sound engineer, specialising in mixing, studio recording, and live mixing. A graduate of advanced diploma in sound engineering at RMIT in Melbourne, James has hit the ground running since entering the industry in 2012, working in Los Angeles alongside renowned engineer Jack Joseph Puig, and independently mixing and recording several projects for Robbie Williams.Working as a freelance engineer has given James experience in a wide range of studio environments, including the iconic East West studios in Hollywood, and with various recording and mixing equipment.Back home in Melbourne, James is a regular in the live music scene, working the sound for recognised bands such as client liaison.James' impressive myriad of experience working with experienced artists and producers across a wide range of genres is a reflection of his advanced recording and production techniques.
