In 2019 a school safety program/app was created, patented, trademarked & copyrighted called MyPal Schools. The word (Pal) is an acronym for (Personal Alert Levels). The program combats Bullying, Cyberbullying, Personal Crisis, Fighting and School Threats. It allows students, parents, staff and community members to report any of these situations instantly & anonymously.MyPal Schools offer school staff the tools to catch a situation before it turns into a critical situation. Too often, school administrators find themselves dealing with the repercussions of an incident that happened Friday afterschool, the following Monday morning. The repercussions of the pandemic didn't allow students to receive support services for almost 2 years. This is contributing to the amount of situations we are currently seeing in schools when it comes to bullying, cyberbullying, personal crisis, fighting & school threats (such as school violence). MyPal Schools provides schools and learning organizations with the safety support they need to make sure equity, inclusion and diversity is reached for all students.
