NewsPickr.com is the basis for other cool tools (in development) that people can use to find free alternatives to news stories that are behind paywalls. We believe that for every news story that's behind a paywall, there's at least one comparable free alternative. We plan to catalog these alternatives and over time build a substantial database of free news stories for all of us who don't wish to pay for news. If you do like to or don't mind paying for news then that's okay; "fill your boots" as they say. We're not trying to discourage people from not paying if that's what you want to do. We're pretty sure there are going to be many more paywalls that will erect in the near and distant future. We will become the best source to find free alternatives to past and current news stories from around the globe. Stay tuned!
