Niessing is a German jewelry manufactory with its headquarters in Vreden (Münster region). The company was founded in the year 1873 by Hermann Niessing. In the 1950s, the manufactory became one of Germany's leading wedding ring manufacturers. Today, Niessing is known for its individual, handcrafted wedding rings, for design icons such as the Niessing Spannring® and for jewelry in exclusive gold colors. Pieces of Niessing jewelry are available at selected jewelers and in Niessing monobrand stores in Germany, in Switzerland and in various Asian countries. The Niessing Stores in Germany and Switzerland are operated by the "Niessing Schmuck-Kooperation".
