One Peace is a peacebuilding organization in Cameroon, founded by Nyadi Francios Ndzi. The organization's peacebuilding strategy is based on three pillars: (i)research (ii) evidence-based policy recommendations and (iii) community-driven solutions to prevent and counter violent extremism. One Peace was accredited in 2018 by the government of Cameroon, with registration number 42/E.29/1111/VOL.8/ALPAS. As our peacebuilding strategy, we carry out research on the drivers of violent extremism in conflict-affected communities. This is done through primary and secondary data collection on peace and security in conflict-affected and conflict-prone communities, which we analyse to identify the complexities of violent extremism, emerging trends and policy gaps.  These baseline assessments enable us to produce policy briefs and inform our community-driven counter-extremism programmes.
