Pet Mediation Canada

Pet Mediation Canada was started by Katie Mayerson who realized that there was a gap between how pet guardians see their pets (as family) and how the law sees pets (as property.) We offer pet-centred, inclusive, and supportive mediation to address the conflicts that can come with sharing a pet (e.g. joint ownership, financial responsibility, medical decision making, etc.) Whether folks are going their separate ways, or about to adopt a pet and nervous about the future, we are here for them. Services are virtual, affordable, and available across Canada. We are proud to offer sliding scale services as needed.
