Pop Up Original is an original music showcase and professional services to musicians here in Northern Ireland. Although based in Northern Ireland we are not restricted to these shores as we have showcased in the South of Ireland , mainland UK and USA.Our aim is to provide artists a place to showcase their talents and grow organically. We believe that acts can become stifled by playing in a condensed area repeatedly, with that in mind we book our acts to play on rotation on a monthly basis in 3 main areas , Belfast , Derry & Dublin. We feel this gives us optimum time to promote each show properly as well as giving the acts enough time to tour consistently without wearing out their audiences. We also offer our acts some media content which they can reuse to promote themselves or upcoming tracks. We interview a lot of our acts so that we can get the story of each band across as opposed to bombarding the public with new song after new song without any context. Pop Up also runs a number of educational seminars for musicians so that they can share best practices and learn from industry experts whom we bring in to share their knowledge
