Rachel got her start in photography when her father gave her a broken Minolta film camera at the ripe age of 17. She was able to clean it up and get it fixed. That's when she began love affair with photography. Since then she has been able to travel and take photos all around the world. Rachel has been working for the U.S. Army as a photojournalist and web designer for the past five years. Not only does she take photos for the military, but she also photographs weddings and does family and child portraits. Rachel's photography combines technical proficiency, patience, intuition, and her unique artistic sensibilities. Whether it's a child's inquisitive expression, a newborn infant's first gasp of air, or an overjoyed couple that just got married, Rachel goes about her chosen passion and profession with an eye for the moment and a heart for beauty. Rachel works hard to make her clients feel comfortable enough to let their guards down and be themselves in front of her camera because that is when the best photographs are taken.
