We have deployed a Motorola TRBO radio system, which is branded "RapidLink Wireless". The Motorola TRBO solution is a mature SMR narrow band compatible system which provides a shared private radio system solution to a diverse customer base. Since the system is mature, Motorola has worked with many companies with an open platform which means that there are many already developed applications already available for use on the MotoTRBO system. These applications answer industry specific needs that are superior to the current capability of commercial cellular systems. RapidLink has aligned itself with multiple Motorola's dealers, which are locally based, to assist in the design, deployment and operations / maintenance of the TRBO system.The RF sites will provide shared private radio system capabilities to an under served market that was left without a viable radio solution with the abandonment of the Nextel PTT radio system. Motorola has demonstrated the success of this system with over 100,000 existing customers using MotoTRBO. We feel there is also a local benefit within the license area since many of the customers are locally based companies like taxis, buses, transportation, ambulance, oil and gas and hospitality industries. A portion of the revenue will come from vehicles and personnel roaming on the RapidLink system, which provides an IP based link to adjacent licenses. This will provide a continuous communication benefiting larger businesses that are statewide or interstate.
