Reality Gives is a dynamic, young, community-based NGO, formed in 2009, as the sister organisation of ethically run tour company, Reality Tours & Travel (RTT), which commits 80% of its post-tax profits from tours to support our work. Reality Gives works in Dharavi-Mumbai, one of the Asia largest slums; and in Sanjay Colony - a similar community in Delhi.Reality Gives firmly believes that education is the strongest tool to break the cycle of poverty. Hence our commitment to provide young people from underserved communities access to quality education and resources to help them achieve their potential and broaden their horizons.We run Community Centres where we deliver educational programs based on quality curricula and teachers we train & develop ourselves, or in collaboration with sector experts. We focus on English, Computer and Life Skills as tools to increase youth employability, but we also have a range of other programs such as football for girls, cricket, dance, etc. We also run a School Program, providing child-centered English medium education to kids up to grade Four - in a local school in Dharavi.
