RouteGuru is a consumer services company with expertise in Geographical Information Systems (GIS). Our current focus is on solving the all-pervasive hassle in finding places and sharing directions in unstructured urban landscapes like in India; and application of these solutions in various location-based-services (LBS) and location-enhanced-services (LES). In June 2007, we launched RouteGuru.com web application, which instantly caught the attention of industry and is highly appreciated by our valued users and major competition. We also brought to market On-the-go (SMS and WAP) services. The globally-first SMS service allows the users to request directions, distance and transportation-fare by sending a simple SMS.
