We are SOAS World Dev, a new development society at SOAS, University of London, dedicated to providing students with a platform to debate and develop a challenging understanding of global development issues. We aim to empower students from both early and late developing countries and encourage all those with an interest in sustainable, economic and humanitarian development to come along and get involved.As a society, we hope to provide students with the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of extra-curricular activities and experiences. We host networking events within the development sector, student-led debates, intergovernmental conference trips and guest speakers, open to all University of London students.
