AIOS – All India Ophthalmological society was established in the year 1930. At present it has more than 17,000 members. The aim of the society is to promote the study, research and practice in the science of ophthalmology across the country and enhance the social relations among the members. The society has various statutory committees to execute its vast activities in the field of ophthalmology and this domain relates to the Scientific Committee of AIOS, which has the mandate to carry out the scientific activities.Scientific Committee - AIOSThe scientific committee will be elected once in three years and the committee consists of a Chairman and seven elected members and ex-officio members. The committee organizes and regulates all the scientific activities of the society.
