Self Reliance Outfitters is a family-owned business that started in 2013 as a way of selling various gear that was utilized for survival training at The Pathfinder School, which was started by Dave Canterbury in 2010. Past experience and modern materials offered an opportunity for Dave to utilize his 30+ years of experience in the outdoors and the Military to redesign pots, pans and stoves that would meet the needs of the modern hiker/camper and outdoor enthusiast.Since its inception, the Pathfinder Brand has been blazing trails in the outdoor cooking and survival gear community. Pulling influence from Past pioneers, our team has merged new technology with proven designs of the past to produce what we like to call "bullet-proof gear" for the outdoor community. Our gear is put to the test by Dave Canterbury, and his talented survival instructors at The Pathfinder School before any piece of gear hits the market.
