The Shared Lives Service helps people to live as part of a family, where they receive the support or care that they need. The service places adults who have mental health needs or learning disabilities, physical impairments, or are elderly, or those who, for a variety of reasons, cannot manage to live without support. Some Shared Lives carers provide personal care, others offer accommodation and day to day support for those more independent. People are matched with a carer and location in Wiltshire that suits, and the carer is paid a weekly fee. This is to ensure that Shared Lives is an enjoyable, fulfilling and valuable experience for all. We are currently recruiting new carers in the Wiltshire area, and welcome customer referrals.
